About Me

From an impoverished upbringing in Lakeside California to dating Elvis Presley and marrying a billionaire, life has been an extraordinary adventure! From the time I was a small child I never wavered from my belief that life can be extraordinary. I have applied this mind set to everything I do in business and in my personal life. I am living proof that anything is possible at any age if you are willing to put faith in yourself and think outside the box. My motto is: the extraordinary is just a new perception away.

I grew up in a dysfunctional home and dropped out of school in the 7th grade. I got married at sixteen and at nineteen was left homeless with no one who cared. From the streets of Los Angeles I managed to land my first starring role in a movie in just three months. More acting work followed and I was working regularly on TV and in films. Okay, I'll admit it. My life story is better than some of the movies I was in. But, that's a whole other Oprah.

I dated Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra and many other high profile businessmen and celebrities. At twenty-five I married billionaire Dwight Stuart, President and heir to the Carnation fortune, and a new journey began for me, one, which would teach me much about life. This marriage was a gift, but not in the way you might think. I got to see first hand how it was to live like a Hilton or Princess Diana, and much of what I saw shocked me. Life is not better with lots of money if you don't know what is truly important.

I divorced after a few years and with very little money and no business skills, I took my love for dolls and established a million dollar a year vintage Barbie Doll Empire. I traveled the world, had many employees working under me, and a mail order client base of forty thousand collectors. I was on TV, in magazines and on the radio. I found not only a business opportunity, but also my voice. I began to speak on shows such as Oprah and Montel about what it takes to live an extraordinary life, how to overcome adversity and emerge on the other side of life with joy, self-esteem and happiness. And a lot of Barbie's.

I began to work with men and women across the country to help them find their voice. Soon I was on the business cover of the L.A. Times and I was written about in the National Enquirer and many other publications.

Today I am launching my own talk show that promises to give joy and irreverence a national voice. Who would have ever thought that there could be such humor in the horrors and dramas of everyday life, but trust me, darling, it is sooo there!

Sometimes all you need is an attitude adjustment to find the humor. A swift kick in the pants will work too.
